This 36 hole complex in nearby Prescott has achieved a reputation among the best public courses in the state. Keeping you ball in the fairway is essential on both 18's as mature trees line many of the fairways. The North course features a series of challenging dogleg holes. Both courses are well kept, especially considering the amount of play and are exceptional values given the pricey environment of the Phoenix area golf courses.

 Anthem Country Club's 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Greg Nash and Associates, is the first of the community's two courses. This beautiful desert course combines dramatic elevation changes and deep canyon washes and features holes that hug the edges of Daisy Mountain to provide an unforgettable golf experience. Anthem's second championship course and accompanying clubhouse facilities are underway and plan to open in late 2003. Anthem's first course is a par-72 and measures 7,219 yards from the back tees to 5,267 yards from the forward tees.  Length is not the only challenge golfers will face. More than ninety bunkers can gobble up errant shots; natural washes and canyons come into play on over half of the holes, and one-third of the greens are tiered in two or three levels.

With mature trees, rolling terrain and spectacular mountain views, Arizona Traditions Golf Club typifies a classic park-like setting. This spectacular par-70 Dick Bailey does a wonderful job of blending traditional style golf where fairways are adjacent to each other instead of having homes on both sides, while still interacting with the desert surroundings. The Golf course feels expansive and comfortable for beginners, yet its strategic bunkering and undulating greens provide a challenge to test accomplished players.

BearCreek Golf Course is a 36 hole, daily fee course by Nicklaus Design. It consists of a long and short course. Nicklaus Design created BearCreek in the Heathland tradition. (A Heathland course is an inland links golf course.) The 18 hole, par 71 championship (long) course measures more than 6800 yards from the chamionship tees. Nicklaus Design took great care in the creation of the par 59 short course to give it the same feel as the long course. The short course will give golfers the opportunity to sharpen their short game.
